Cădelniță - Bronz - Tămâieră gotică

Incensário gótico medieval importante (turíbulo) em bronze, datado no século XV, tradicionalmente utilizado na liturgia cristã para queimar incenso durante cerimônias religiosas.
A peça apresenta a estrutura arquitetônica característica do gótico tardio, com corpo vazado formado por pequenas aberturas que evocam janelas e arcadas góticas, permitindo a saída da fumaça do incenso. A parte superior rematada em cúpula e a zona inferior com pedestal completam um design típico dos turíbulos usados em igrejas e mosteiros europeus durante a Baixa Idade Média.
O incensário está suspenso por cinco correntes (quatro ao redor e uma superior que permite levantar a tampa), sistema tradicional que permitia balançá-lo durante a cerimônia litúrgica. Este mecanismo é próprio dos turíbulos medievais utilizados no culto cristão.
A peça apresenta pátina antiga compatível com a sua idade, bem como desgaste natural próprio de um objeto litúrgico utilizado ao longo do tempo.
Este tipo de objetos fazia parte do mobiliário litúrgico de igrejas e capelas, e hoje constitui uma peça muito apreciada por colecionadores de arte sacra, medievalistas e museus.

Important medieval Gothic censer (thurible) in bronze, dated to the 15th century, traditionally used in Christian liturgy to burn incense during religious ceremonies.
The piece features the characteristic architectural structure of the Late Gothic style, with an openwork body formed by small openings reminiscent of Gothic windows and arches, allowing the incense smoke to escape. The upper part crowned with a dome and the lower section with a pedestal complete a design typical of thuribles used in European churches and monasteries during the Late Middle Ages.
The censer is suspended by five chains (four surrounding chains and one upper chain used to lift the lid), a traditional system that allowed it to be swung during the liturgical ceremony. This mechanism is characteristic of medieval thuribles used in Christian worship.
The piece displays an old patina consistent with its age, as well as natural wear typical of a liturgical object that has been used over time.
Objects of this type were part of the liturgical furnishings of churches and chapels, and today they are highly appreciated by collectors of sacred art, medievalists, and museums.
