About Pio Manzù:
Born in Bergamo in 1939, son of the sculptor Giacomo, he studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm. In 1962 together with Michael Conrad, he won the competition held by Revue Automobile for a new concept of coupé to be applied on the Austin Healey 100 chassis.In 1968 he entered the Centro Stile FIAT as consultant, devoting himself with the study of small sized cars. He died in 1969.
