This is an elegant two-tier Japanese 重箱jubako (stacked food box) made of plastic, featuring a refined design of cranes and pine trees, symbols of longevity and good fortune in Japanese culture. The exterior is finished in deep black with detailed gold decoration in a maki-e style, depicting graceful cranes in flight above stylized pine branches. The interior is finished in vibrant vermilion, creating a striking contrast.

Traditionally used for serving festive foods such as おせちosechi during New Year celebrations, this 重箱jubako offers the aesthetic of traditional lacquerware while being lightweight and practical due to its plastic construction.
