This Bronze Manta Ray Sculpture is crafted with meticulous detail, this graceful masterpiece features gleaming accents and rests elegantly on a display base.

SUSTAINABILITY
Our bronze sculptures are made from upcycled metals such as old pipelines. Our craftsmen and women collect this scrap waste which they then put in an oven at very high temperatures. Once the scrap waste pieces melt, the new raw material is ready to be used. We then use this virgin material to make our bronze sculptures. As bronze is a very eco and labour-intensive material to mine, we feel it makes much more sense to reuse the material that has already been created than to extract it – again. By doing so we are trying to close at least one waste loop.
TRANSPARENCY & WHO MADE IT
Lastly, when it comes to our working conditions, we work exclusively with Indonesian craftsmen and women in both Bali and Java. This piece specifically was made in Java, Indonesia. All of our craftsmen and women get paid a living wage that exceeds what Indonesian Law requires. Their income is enough for a comfortable home, food, education, ceremonies, and more.

-The Item will be sent with a Track & Trace code via DHL Parcel, DPD or postNl. The tracking will be updated in your Catawiki lot once your parcel has been dropped off.
-Please check regularly to avoid your parcel being returned to us, in which case the buyer will be responsible for the shipping costs of the 2nd shipment.

De peste un deceniu, am călătorit prin Indonezia pentru a selecta piese de interior unice, care reflectă bogăția meșteșugurilor și patrimoniului cultural al țării. Ne specializăm în procurarea de piese autentice, artizanale, direct de la mici ateliere de familie din întreaga Java, Bali, Sumatra și dincolo de acestea. Colecția noastră variază de la decoruri sculptate manual și sculpturi din bronz până la obiecte de uz casnic din materiale naturale. Fiecare obiect este selectat cu grijă pentru măiestria, caracterul și povestea sa.
Avem peste 10 ani de experiență în colaborarea strânsă cu artizani indonezieni. Datorită acestui fapt, expertiza noastră constă în identificarea lucrărilor de înaltă calitate, a materialelor naturale și a pieselor unice care ies în evidență. Fiecare lot pe care îl listăm pe Catawiki este inspectat personal de noi și sprijină comunitățile locale și tehnicile tradiționale în care credem profund.
