The Boston Acoustics VRC is a high-performance, 3-way center channel speaker from the well-regarded Video Reference (VR) series.
It was designed to provide clear dialogue and a wide soundstage for home theater setups.

The Impedance Factor: While rated at 8 ohms, technical tests show the VRC can dip to about 4.1 ohms at certain low frequencies (around 60Hz).
The AMD Technology: The "AMD" in the tweeter stands for Amplitude Modification Device. It’s a small bridge over the tweeter that uses five tiny tubes to cancel out high-frequency resonances. This gives the speaker a very "smooth" sound..
