Towards the City by Yutaka Takanashi is one of his landmark photobooks, featuring the iconic cover with an attached round mirror. The book was composed and designed by Kohei Sugiura, with poetry by Gozo Yoshimasu. It also includes the separate booklet Tokyojin. This volume contains 54 black-and-white plates, together with texts and shooting data recorded by Takanashi in his sketchbook. CONDITION The shipping box has scratches and soiling. The book itself has foxing to the endpapers and edges, with light foxing on several pages. There is one area of soiling to the edge of a page.
