The painting depicts a lone fisherman in his boat returning home after a day on the water. The artists has create a colourful image of the sun setting forming a pink and orange glow to the sky. You can make out the boats and cottage in the lengthening shadows at the waters edge. The artwork is signed lower right partially obscured J Owen. This artist used up to 14 different pseudonyms throughout his career making him a very prolific artist. A beautiful piece art full of charm which would grace any wall in your home.
