Different forms of transportation — airplane, ship, train, underground railway, and fire engine — coexist within a single fragmented visual world. Normally separated by land, sea, air, and different purposes, here they become parts of one continuous environment. Their paths intersect visually, creating a world in which distance, direction, and conventional boundaries gradually disappear.
The composition reflects the idea that the world does not simply surround us — it becomes part of us. Places we have visited, journeys we have taken, machines we have encountered, memories, departures, arrivals, and experiences accumulate within our consciousness. Over time, these fragments merge into a personal inner landscape.
The airplane introduces freedom, distance, and the desire to cross boundaries. The ship suggests exploration and the uncertainty of the journey. The trains represent direction, continuity, and the irreversible movement forward, while the fire engine introduces urgency and the unpredictable events that suddenly alter the rhythm of everyday life.
Rather than existing independently, all these elements penetrate the same geometric structure. Architecture, landscape, transportation, sky, water, and tunnels become almost impossible to separate. The result is a deliberately controlled visual chaos in which many different realities coexist simultaneously.
The palette combines petrol blue, turquoise, deep red, ochre, burnt sienna, cream, black, white, orange, and aged golden-yellow tones. Strong geometric planes are interrupted by scratches, irregular contours, textured surfaces, painterly marks, and deliberate imperfections.
This controlled visual tension is characteristic of the ZAACHI style — a personal contemporary artistic language influenced by Cubism and modern figurative abstraction, where recognizable forms coexist with deliberate distortion, asymmetry, geometric fragmentation, and painterly imperfection.
The original composition was digitally painted by the artist and then professionally printed on high-quality canvas. The artwork was subsequently extensively reworked by hand using acrylic paints, transparent and opaque layers, spatula work, textured marks, scratches, sanding, splashes, and other painterly interventions. The extensive manual finishing gives the artwork its unique texture, depth, expressive surface, and individual character.
This is a unique mixed-media artwork, entirely authentic and one of a kind. It exists as a single original work and is not part of an edition or series of reproductions.
