PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING

The lots offered are not new but second-hand and may have defects related to their age, bottle level, condition of the cork, label, or capsule. By bidding, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this condition without reservation. We recommend that you do not bid if you do not understand or accept the “second-hand” condition of the lot.

Condition :
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the box and labels. We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note :
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit, due to the various ages of bottles and their seals. The condition of the liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. If you're used to new bottles and aren't familiar with older bottles, please do not bid if this does not suit you or if you are worried.

Return :
If you're unhappy with your purchase, we will offer a full refund on the price, but you'll need to email us within 14 days of receiving your items in order to let us know. In addition, lots need to be returned to us in the same condition as you received them within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to return them (please note that you will still be liable for all fees including commission and postage/shipping costs).

If you have received a different bottle, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange an exchange. During this process, your payment, including shipping costs, is insured and guaranteed until completion. If you decide to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund. Please contact Catawiki for details. We do not control payments or refunds, nor their value dates.

Shipping ;
Due to high or cold temperatures, the shipment of your bottle may be delayed to prevent it from being damaged by high or cold temperatures. Temperature fluctuations can damage wine or spirits, affecting their taste and quality. It is therefore common practice to suspend shipments during periods of extreme weather; we do not reduce transport costs for groupage shipments.

If we determine that consolidating shipments is possible without risk, this does not necessarily reduce shipping costs; the packing procedure is the same whether there is one bottle or several. If you purchase a large number of bottles, your order will be shipped in multiple packages at different times because there are weight and value limits per package, so don't be surprised if you receive only one package at first—the others will follow. Please do not bid if this does not suit you or if you are worried.

Old bottles require a rigorous packaging protocol, which takes additional time and may delay delivery. Please contact us before bidding if you have a set date for a birthday or event. We recommend that you do not bid if you are in a hurry..

Delivery : You will be notified of the status of your delivery by checking the tracking information provided in the listing. The carrier will contact you to ensure successful delivery; if you are not available, your package may be transferred to a partner pickup location. If the package is not picked up and the delivery results in a return, we will consider this to be due to your negligence, and you may be responsible for the shipping costs.

Review :
We have a large number of shipments that are subcontracted to carriers; errors or unintentional damage can occur. We are here to listen to you and find a solution. Please contact us before leaving your review.
