 In 1960, the 356 B replaced the previous 356 A, the car from which they took inspiration to completely redesign the new model. Aesthetically, the B differed from its predecessors for its higher front bumper, larger wheel rims and significantly higher front headlights. The horn grilles, located next to the front indicators, although more protruding, were flatter than their predecessors and featured two chrome-plated discs. From 1962 the 356 B was distinguished by a bonnet significantly wider at the bottom and a fuel tank cover in the right front wing.
