The Macallan journey from acorn to glass is also one marked by notable milestones.The first is the selection of the finest oak for our casks, while the second sees the seasoned casks journey home to Scotland from Spain. Next, the exceptional casks are filled with new make spirit and left to quietly mature. Then, when it's deemed perfect tot bottle, the liquid is carefully handpicked to the exacting specifications of The Macallan Master Distiller, and we witness the most memorable moment of all, the creation of this remarkable single malt whisky.

The Macallan Aera reminds us that every moment on life's journey should be savoured; some in quiet contemplation, others in glorious celebration. Like the milestones in the making of this peerless malt, each is uniquely special and will be remembered forever.
Matured predominately in sherry-seasoned oak casks, this whisky is characterised by the sweetness of dried fruits, intertwined with the smoothness of honey and citrus burst, and concluded with lingering and gentle warmth.
