when, in his seventieth year, Adolphus began the task of
continuing it to the death of George III. Vol. I. was re-issued
in 1840. Vol. VII, closing with the fall of the Addington
administration (May 12th 1804), appeared in 1845, and
Adolphus was working on the eighth volume when he died."
