There is good reason that the Auto Union Type D is known as one of the most beautiful race cars ever.
It should be noted that, although the piece is in like-new condition, it is missing the front hood. Nevertheless, it remains an extraordinary collector’s item, having been named Model of the Year in 2001 and awarded the Gold Medal.
