The structure combines gold, silver, and enamel in a complex openwork floral-star motif. The base features a secure hinged pin with a safety catch. Above it, two openwork star-shaped layers are adorned with curved 18K gold ribbons inlaid with black enamel. The central setting holds two rose-cut diamonds, each nestled in a tiny silver collet surrounded by twelve finely hand-crafted gold prongs — six from the floral petal base and six from the silver setting. The tiny silver base subtly enhances the sparkle of the antique diamonds, while the abundance of gold and the elegant black enamel convey an unmistakable air of luxury and refinement.
