Church’s Dubai – Premium Calf Leather Oxford (Last 136)

The Church’s Dubai is the quintessential formal Oxford, representing the height of traditional British craftsmanship. This version, built on the elegant 136 last, is crafted in premium Calf Leather, offering a more natural and soft alternative to the Polished Binder finish.

Key Features

Premium Calf Leather (Vitello): A full-grain calfskin upper selected for its tight texture and superior suppleness. Calf leather is breathable, molds beautifully to the foot, and takes a high-gloss natural shine with regular polishing.

Size: 10.5 UK

136 Last – Modern Silhouette: Featuring a contemporary, elongated shape with a tapered toe. It offers a sleeker look compared to traditional round-toe models.

Dainite Rubber Sole: Equipped with a genuine Dainite studded rubber sole, as shown in the images. This sole provides exceptional grip and weather resistance while maintaining a surprisingly slim and elegant profile.

Handcrafted in England: Made in Northampton using traditional Goodyear welt construction, ensuring maximum durability and allowing for full resoling.

Refined Detailing: Classic five-eyelet closed lacing, tonal stitching, and full leather lining for superior breathability and comfort.

Sizing Advice: Last 136

Important: The 136 last is known for its generous fit. Due to its elongated toe box and modern proportions, this model runs large.

Recommendation: Most wearers find they need to size down by a half size (0.5 UK) compared to their standard size or other Church’s lasts (like the 173).

Fit Profile: While the silhouette is visually slim, the internal volume is spacious. Sizing down ensures the foot remains secure without excessive "dead space" at the front of the shoe.

Care Instructions

As this is natural calf leather, it requires specific care to prevent creasing and drying. Store them with aromatic cedar shoe trees immediately after every wear to preserve the elongated shape of the 136 last. Treat the leather periodically with a high-quality nourishing cream and wax polish to keep the calfskin hydrated and protect it.
