The instrument is in ready to play condition with some tears and small repaired crack to left f-hole. The violin has an excellent high grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of softly flamed maple with matched sides. The purfling is professionally executed and the edges are masterfully done. The whole length of the violin is 590 mm and the back 359 mm. Width of the upper bout: 164 mm; middle: 112 mm; lower: 204 mm.
