Edwardian sterling silver glove stretcher, Birmingham, 1906. Hallmarked with lion passant, anchor and date letter m. Maker’s mark S&L, attributed to Suckling & Langford of Birmingham. Elegantly decorated with floral motifs. Originally used to stretch and preserve leather gloves. Fully functional spring. Fine example of early 20th-century English dressing table silver.
