Punkt 114. Islamisk Brons Ring - Medeltiden, 10:e–14:e e.Kr. (Utan reservationspris)
Medieval Bronze Signet Ring – AD 1000 to 1400 – 23x18 mm – 9.76 gr.
This robust bronze signet ring features a circular bezel engraved with a stylized geometric motif, possibly a monogram or symbolic pattern, likely used for stamping personal or official seals. The shoulders are slightly decorated, transitioning smoothly into a solid hoop. The engraving, though stylized and abstract, may carry heraldic or personal significance within the medieval context.
The deep patina and minor surface encrustations confirm long burial and natural aging. Its size and weight suggest it was made for a male wearer of status, potentially a merchant or minor noble, who would have used it both as personal adornment and a functional seal.
