Bruichladdich Octomore 14.1 – Super Heavily Peated – 59.6% – 70 cl The Octomore 14.1 is the flagship expression of the fourteenth Octomore series from Bruichladdich. Distilled in 2017 and matured for 5 years in first-fill American oak casks, this single malt showcases the signature Octomore style: extreme peat intensity combined with remarkable balance and elegance. Bottled at 59.6% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural colour, the 14.1 delivers powerful smoky aromas, followed by notes of vanilla sweetness, citrus, toasted oak and maritime freshness. Highly sought after by collectors and peat lovers, Octomore releases are produced in limited quantities and consistently attract strong interest on the secondary market. Octomore 14.1 est distillé à partir d’orge 100% écossaise, de la variété variété Concerto récoltée en 2016. Il a ensuite vieilli pendant 5 ans dans des fûts de Bourbon de premier remplissage. Cette subtile influence du chêne permet au caractère brut du spiritueux de s’exprimer et fait lieu de point de comparaison pour les deux autres références 14.2 et 14.3. Ce millésime 2017 affiche un taux de 128,9 PPM* et affiche un profil profond, résolument tourbé, avec des notes de caramel, de vanille et de noix de coco.
