The MacPhail’s range of whiskies features single malts from undisclosed Speyside distilleries, all carefully sherry cask matured. This 12-Year-Old expression delights the palate with a harmonious blend of dried fruit, candied peel, chestnuts, red apple, and toffee. This Dalmunach Octave was bottled by Duncan Taylor. In the Octave series, the bottler is experimenting with the influence of the cask size on the maturing. Octave casks with ca. 50 litres is only a fraction of the regular sizes. With this the Whisky has more contact to the cask's surface and matures more intensively. Exclusively for the German market. Limited bottling.
