Space Cruiser Yamato - 4 Promotional Material - 1977

En grupp på fyra original japanska cinema-objekt för Space Battleship Yamato-franchisen, internationellt känd som Star Blazers, utgivna i Japan mellan 1977 och 1983. Samtliga är original från den aktuella tiden – inte reproduktioner eller senare omtryck.

1. Space Battleship Yamato (1977)

Official theatre programme for the first feature film. Published by Academy Co., Ltd., Tokyo, with the publisher's imprint on the rear cover. The cover shows the Yamato against a red planet; the rear cover carries the English tagline "Space Cruiser Yamato". Illustrated throughout in colour with film stills and story pages.

2. Arrivederci Yamato / Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato – Soldiers of Love (1978)

Official theatre programme for the second feature. Published by Office Academy Co., Ltd., Tokyo. Deep blue cover with the Yamato under full power, and a black rear cover bearing the Teresa artwork with the English title "Arrivederci Space Cruiser Yamato". Richly illustrated in colour.

3. Final Yamato (1983)

Official theatre programme for the final feature, issued for the 10th anniversary of Yamato and carrying the anniversary emblem on the cover. Published by West Cape Corporation, Tokyo. Black and red cover with the redesigned Yamato; the rear cover shows the galaxy and Teresa artwork.

4. Yamato Festival cinema flyer (1979)

Single-sheet chirashi for the "'79 Big Summer Roadshow — Space Battleship Yamato Festival", a double bill screening the first and second films together, with Triton of the Sea as the supporting feature. The reverse carries synopses of both films together with the imprint of the Oyama Toei cinema in Itabashi, Tokyo, and the screening date of 14 July. Flyers printed for a single named cinema were discarded after the run and survive in far smaller numbers than the programmes.

Credits appearing on these items include Yoshinobu Nishizaki (producer), Leiji Matsumoto (supervising director and design), Toshio Masuda (director) and Hiroshi Miyagawa (music).

Det 1977-programmet visar det tyngsta slitet, med veckning över omslagen, nötning av ytan, slitage längs kanter och hörn samt små avnagningar i yttre kanter. 1978-programmet har lätt veckning och ytnötning på omslagen med viss kantslitage. 1983-programmet och 1979-flyern är märkbart renare, med endast mindre hanteringsmärken.

Alla fyra är kompletta, utan saknade sidor, utan rivor i bilderna och utan skrivningar. Granska vänligen alla foton noggrant, eftersom de utgör en del av beskrivningen.
