Raffinata sedia viennese d’epoca Jacob & Josef Kohn, realizzata in legno curvato a vapore e caratterizzata da un elegante design di gusto viennese tra la fine del XIX e l’inizio del XX secolo.

La sedia presenta uno schienale alto e finemente sagomato, con elementi decorativi curvilinei che donano eleganza e movimento alla struttura. Particolarmente interessante è la seduta circolare decorata, impreziosita da un motivo ornamentale a ventaglio/conchiglia in rilievo, elemento di grande carattere estetico.

La struttura è completata da gambe elegantemente ricurve e da un elemento circolare di raccordo nella parte inferiore. Il legno conserva una piacevole patina d’epoca, con tonalità calde e naturali.

Sotto la seduta è presente una antica etichetta cartacea Jacob & Josef Kohn, Wien, elemento importante per l’identificazione del produttore.

Jacob & Josef Kohn – Antique Viennese Bentwood Chair

Elegant antique Jacob & Josef Kohn Viennese chair, made of steam-bent wood and characterized by a refined Viennese design dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The chair features a tall, finely shaped backrest with curved decorative elements that give the structure an elegant and distinctive appearance. Particularly attractive is the round decorated seat, featuring a raised fan/shell ornamental motif.

The structure is completed by gracefully curved legs and a circular lower connecting element. The wood retains a beautiful aged antique patina with warm natural tones.

An old Jacob & Josef Kohn, Wien paper label is preserved underneath the seat and represents an important identifying element of the manufacturer.

Condition

The chair is in good vintage condition considering its age, with normal signs of age and use.

There are scratches, abrasions, small imperfections and wear to the finish, together with natural variations in the antique patina. Small holes compatible with historical woodworm activity are also visible in some areas of the wood.
