A superb late 18th century Venetian giltwood cherub ornament, measuring circa 55cm in width and weighing 1654g, the angelic putto with head tilted right and wings and arms spread wide, suspending a ribboned garland of oak and laurel leaves between them.
Condition: Very good, no significant damages. A few old repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age, see pictures for a more complete overview.
