My father previously ran a business specialising in Asian furniture and Persian carpets. He travelled extensively in the region to source pieces, including carpets purchased in Iran, and visited the Peshawar region, where he acquired Afghan war carpets. The objects I am offering come from pieces retained from his former business and personal collection.
