Charity-Auktion (Women of Africa)

Women of Africa is an international solidarity organisation created in 2002, present in 14 countries. It creates & implements innovative programs in favour of sustainable development through partnership-projects with local women, children & young adults. La Plume Noire which set up “Essence et Sens Gallery” is a non-profit organisation founded in February 1995 in Paris (France), that promotes artistic cultures and literatures of the world and of the French-speaking and Francophile world. After many years of organising contemporary collective exhibitions in Parisian museums and NGOs, in 2016 La Plume Noire set this online art gallery to support and promote the artistic creation of contemporary artists, both known and emerging.  Essence & Sens Gallery puts forward talented and committed contemporary artists, whose works create a space for dialogue and intercultural encounter which constitutes the DNA of the gallery. Women of Africa is active in the fields of health, education, training, development, agriculture, micro-credit, science & technology, environment, culture, sport, as well as the fight against violence against women, against the exclusion of disabled people and the demobilisation of child soldiers.
