A refined lacquered zushi 厨子 (altar shrine) housing an embracing Kangiten figure 歓喜天 (God of obstacles, bliss and success), also known as Binayaka 毘那夜, or more commonly, Shôten 聖天 (lit. "sacred god"). The cylindrical shrine is finished in lustrous gilt lacquer and fitted with hinged doors secured by a latch, adorned with finely chased gilt-metal fittings and pendants featuring foliate scrollwork against a punched ground. The pendants are embellished with beaded details and bell-shaped ends. The top is crowned with a flaming glass sphere finial resting on a double lotus pedestal. The shrine is raised on an elaborate multi-tiered circular base, intricately decorated with floral diaper patterns, scrolling clouds, ornamental reserves, and finely veined lotus leaves. The interior reveals a secondary cylindrical enclosure containing a delicate bronze figure of Kangiten — the dual elephant-headed deity depicted in an intimate embrace, standing on a floral base. A label with characters is affixed onto the inner enclosure. Dimensions: Height 55.5 cm, Diameter 29 cm.
