This stately bronze vase with parrot, crafted by Meiji metalworker - Isozaki Yoshitsugu磯崎美亜(1884-1949), Born in Ibaraki Prefecture, A disciple of the second-generation Unno Yoshimori. He also created the lion statue at the main entrance of the Mitsukoshi department store in Nihonbashi. Mito metalwork is characterized by its intricate and realistic work, and is said to produce many pieces of extremely high artistic value.
Period: Late Meiji - Taisho period
