Art Deco Sterling Silver Box – Beddoes & Co – Birmingham 1937 – Gilded Interior – 197 g A refined and beautifully preserved Art Deco sterling silver box, made in Birmingham in 1937, crafted by the renowned silversmith Beddoes & Co. A multifunctional luxury piece suitable for business cards, jewellery, cigarettes, calling cards, or as an elegant desk accessory. This rectangular silver box is executed in a sleek, engine-turned Art Deco pattern, typical of the late 1930s. The front is decorated with an engraved monogram T J, elegantly placed within a stepped geometric Art Deco frame. This monogram can be professionally removed should the buyer wish to engrave their own initials. The interior is richly fire-gilded (vermeil), offering a warm golden contrast to the cool silver exterior and enhancing the luxurious feel of the piece.
