A very large floor vase in the Fat Lava style by Scheurich, produced in West Germany in the 1960s/70s. The vase has a beige-caramel-brown pattern reminiscent of molten lava, as well as a crackle pattern. Its unusual yet simple colour combination makes it suitable for a variety of interior styles and colours. The vase has two chips on the inner rim, one small and one larger, but these do not affect the outer rim. The small one can be concealed with a little black paint and the larger one with a little clay and dark paint if necessary. There are also two small white scratches (approx. 1-2 mm in size/diameter). See pictures. Otherwise, it is in very good condition. The diameter of the opening is 15 cm. The diameter at the thickest point is 22 cm and the diameter of the base is 17 cm. The vase is 52 cm high. Weight:4,3 Kg The 1L whisky bottle (outer packaging) and the vases with flowers next to the vase in one picture are for size comparison. The pictures above and the blue wall also show that the colour of the vase goes well with different colour schemes. Back to the colour. The first picture most closely matches the actual colour. The vase appears orange or yellowish in some pictures, but this does not correspond to the actual colour. It is more of an earthy, warm beige, with a hint of ochre at most.
