Harry Fayt (Belgium, 1979) “Modern Icons” (Signed) is the artist’s second book, presenting not only his eponymous series, but also his ‘Heart Made in Belgium’ series. In 2006he opens his first studio in Liège. 3years later he invests in underwater photographic equipments and starts shooting babies underwater but quickly after testing with friends the good result take him back to fashion photography, underwater. However, his curiosity gets him to settle down in NewYork to open a new studio. Unfortunately a short dream, reaching the success after only 7 months, legal papers issues pushed him out of US. Once back in Belgium in parallel with his fashion and underwater portraits, he starts a personal project which brings him back to essential, “the female figure” in its purest form, the nude.
