A fine Meiji-period (c. 1890) Japanese sterling silver card tray by Arthur & Bond (Yokohama), featuring a dramatic dragon in flames above crashing waves in high-relief decoration. Never monogrammed and hallmarked as shown, it measures 6 × 4 in (approx. 15.2 × 10.2 cm) and weighs 3½ standard ounces (about 109 g). Condition: very fine, with rich patina, crisp hand-carved detail largely intact, light surface wear to the center, and no dents, repairs, or notable scratches.
