After he received an award from Nihon Hanga-in Exhibition in 1959, he has been active in print making inside and outside of Japan. He is especially well known for his ex-libris (zosho hyou) works and has numerous exhibitions all over the world, such as Poland, France, Italy, Russia, Arzentin, etc.. His works are usually modern but figurative in strong colors. He is a member of the Nihon Bijutsu-ka Renmei (Japan Artists Association).
