Please note the bottles do not come with their respective cardboard boxes. -- French Virgin Oak The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old French Virgin Oak is a splendid experiment for the Glenallachie distillery, a whisky aged for a discrete final period in virgin French oak barrels, or barrels that contain this whisky for the first time, despite the tradition of the whisky and especially of Scotch is linked to barrels that previously contained other spirits (especially Spanish sherry or US bourbon). The Glenallachie distillery is finally finding a space in the vast international panorama thanks to the new ownership that has managed to organize the releases and exploit the large heritage of barrels already present in the warehouses. This The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old French Virgin Oak belongs to the Virgin Oak Serie series and is released in a limited edition. -- Spanish Virgin Oak One of three whiskies released by GlenAllachie for its Virgin Oak Series in late 2020, this one having enjoyed a finishing period in Spanish oak casks. Specifically, the oak was sourced from the Cantabrian Mountains in Northern Spain, and was air dried for around 18 months before the casks were filled. The whisky was bottled up at 12 years of age, with an ABV of 48%.
