It features a compact, rounded design with a transparent window that allows you to see the pencil shavings inside. The sharpener is battery-powered and was tested by inserting batteries; operation has been confirmed, and shavings were produced correctly (see photos). Controls are located on the top, making it easy to use on a desk. As this is a vintage item, there are scratches, stains, and signs of sun fading consistent with age and use. Despite this, it remains fully functional and is a charming example of retro Japanese office electronics.
