Rare booklet because dated May 1929, It is the thirtieth number of the whole collection started end of 1928, with unchanged numbering from the very beginning of the publication. In addition, as the cover is quite discreet, very few copies have been preserved by readers of this time. The booklet has a few spots of age on the first side and a brown spot on the lower left corner on the complete booklet. Note also the presence of a rare illustration of Herge for a Japanese poem, with black swan, which explains that this drawing is the only one to possess a unique signature of Herge, written in Japanese invented by Herge.
