Moneda rectangular de plata correspondiente al sistema monetario tradicional japonés del final del periodo Edo, conocida como Isshu Gin. Presenta un diseño sobrio de estilo caligráfico, con caracteres bien definidos y relieve uniforme, propios de la acuñación manual japonesa. Los campos conservan brillo metálico visible con pátina plateada clara y homogénea, mostrando leves marcas de contacto acordes con su grado de conservación. Ejemplar atractivo y bien centrado, representativo de las pequeñas denominaciones fiduciarias utilizadas en el comercio cotidiano previo a la Restauración Meiji.
