Collectibles from famous Hungarian porcelain manufacturers from the mid-20th century. Left figure (Purple Dress) This figurine, often called "Girl by the Water" or "Woman Drawing Water", was made by the renowned Hungarian porcelain factory Hollóháza. Design: It is recognizable by its elegant Art Deco style, depicting a woman in a long purple dress kneeling with a small vessel in her hand. Provenance: Most of these figurines date from the 1960s and are hand-painted. Right figure (Female Nude) This figurine represents a "Female Nude Putting a Flower in Her Hair" (sometimes described as a Bather), and is a product of the Aquincum Budapest factory. Design: The figurine depicts a naked woman in a kneeling position with her hands raised to her head. It often has subtle details such as a green or pink flower in her hair and a base in similar colors. Style: It is designed in a classic vintage style with elements of Art Deco, popular between the 1950s and 1970s.
