Ceramic vase from Munich, 1890–1910. Bavarian workshops of this period produced moulded ceramics with pronounced relief. Vegetal and animal motifs. Surface finished with a black engobe applied over a light clay body, a traditional technique used in German ceramics at the end of the 19th century. Model number impressed under the base (521). Partially preserved original paper label. Height: 30 cm. Good overall condition. Localized wear to the black engobe on one area of the body, where the surface coating has partially worn away, consistent with age and handling. ____ Vase en céramique de Munich, 1890-1910.
