The interior is wood. The walls and lid are made of chromed brass. The black plate is enameled copper, the green button is enameled brass, and the brown handle is incised bakelite, made to resemble antique Chinese carved buffalo horn.

The box features geometric design elements characteristic of the Art Deco style.

In good condition. Normal traces of age and use. Small gap between the enameled copper decoration and the chromed lid (see photo 7). Might surface scratches and some very small and light dents.
