Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
Offered is an authentic pair of antique table knives with solid 800 silver handles, produced by the renowned silversmith Julius Lemor in Breslau. The knives date to the early 20th century (circa 1900–1925) and are stylistically associated with the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) period.
The blades bear the original marking “Julius Lemor – Breslau – Nicht rostend”, indicating the period-correct use of stainless steel blades combined with silver handles.
The “800” silver hallmark is clearly visible, confirming the silver content of the handles.
The elegant, restrained design and balanced proportions are characteristic of high-quality German table silver from this era. The knives form a matching pair, making them well suited for collectors of German and Silesian silverware, Jugendstil objects, or as a refined addition to an existing silver cutlery set.
