Item Description:
This is a finely crafted bronze sculpture of Jurojin created by the artist Hōkō (峯光).
Jurojin, one of the Seven Lucky Gods (Shichifukujin) in Japanese folklore, is revered as the deity of longevity and wisdom.
The sculpture depicts Jurojin with a serene and wise expression, dressed in flowing traditional robes and holding a staff adorned with a deer — a symbol of long life.
Every fine detail, from the meticulously textured beard to the naturalistic folds of his garments, demonstrates superb mastery in bronze work.
At the back, a wooden mallet accent adds a unique warmth and contrast to the dark bronze patina.
The artist's signature "峯光" (Hōkō) is clearly engraved on the side of the robe, attesting to its authenticity.
An excellent piece for collectors of Japanese art, feng shui enthusiasts, or as an auspicious interior decoration.
