On the rolling hills of Neive, where south-facing limestone soils receive acute rays of sunlight, lies the Bordini vineyard—one of the historic landmarks of the Barbaresco region. Its approximately 4 hectares of old Nebbiolo vines contribute to an expression that combines power and elegance. The 2021 vintage brought optimal climatic conditions: balanced temperatures and cooler nights allowed for careful ripening. The manual harvest in late October produced grapes with intense fruit and a clear structure. The wine matured in large barrels and 225-liter barriques for approximately 15 months, followed by up to 15 months of bottle aging—a maturation that creates depth and elegance.
