Beatles-Photobook, Erstauflage im Vereinigten Königreich 1964, mit ungeöffneter Stamp‑Sheet und Obi, 28 Seiten Softcover.
Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
This is a photo book shot by Norman Parkinson at Abbey Road Studios on September 12, 1963, while they were recording “Hold Me Tight,” “Don’t Bother Me,” and other songs.
The first edition was published in 1964 by Hutchinson and Company in the UK.
It comes with a sheet in which the members are designed like stamps.
It was written as "20th ANNIVERSARY SEAL SHEET" at the place where I got it (I think it is probably a mistake of STAMP SHEET).
Details about this sheet are unclear.
It was also labeled “1980’s? Version UK ENGLAND REISSUE.”
Based on the inserted flyer, it appears that this copy was probably purchased through the Beatles Cine Club in Japan (now the Beatles Club).
The dust jacket shows age‑related rubbing and slight curling along the edges.
The obi has wrinkles and some tearing.
Inside, the title page has some staining, but the photo pages themselves are free of notable damage.
The stamp sheet is unopened and sealed in its original plastic.
-28 pages
-Softcover
-Book Size: 31.8cm × 22.6cm
-Seet Size: 20.5 cm × 17.0cm
Information in Japan (1989):
This is a full-scale photobook published in the United Kingdom in 1964, which was unusual at the time.
The distinctive feature of this photo book lies in its shooting location.
It captures the Beatles in EMI Abbey Road Studio No. 2, which was often referred to as their own private studio.
Centered on the Beatles during recording sessions, it features dynamic editing, including photos taken from low angles with a sense of movement, unlike anything else.
Snapshots of the four relaxing between takes are also enjoyable.
The color in the images may differ slightly from the actual item.
Import duties, taxes, and fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Customs or your local delivery company may contact you by phone or email for clearance procedures, so please ensure that you are able to respond.
If you are unable to do so, the package may be returned, and reshipping will require additional time and cost.
Thank you for your cooperation.
