Ceci est une interprétation artistique de la carte "The World in Hemispheres" de 1874 de Lloyd H.H. Smith, adaptée à une technique de gravure unique et rare pour cette taille.

Très peu de machines au monde sont capables de graver dans le verre de grande taille. En possédant et en maîtrisant une, j’ai souhaité exploiter ces possibilités afin de fusionner deux univers : l’ancien et le moderne, dans un objet décoratif d’exception.

Limitée à 20 exemplaires, chaque pièce est numérotée.
En cadeau, reproduction papier de la carte originale en grand format.

Cette reproduction est entièrement fabriquée au Benelux (Belgique et Pays-Bas).

This is an artistic interpretation of the 1874 map “The World in Hemispheres” by Lloyd H.H. Smith, adapted using a unique and rare engraving technique for this size.

Very few machines in the world are capable of engraving large-format glass. By owning and mastering one of them, I wanted to explore its full potential by bringing together two worlds: the old and the modern, combined into an exceptional decorative piece.

Limited to 20 editions, each piece is individually numbered.
As a complimentary gift, a large-format paper reproduction of the original map is included.

This reproduction is entirely handcrafted in the Benelux region (Belgium and the Netherlands).
