Collection of Dresden & Meissen Porcelain – 4 Cups and Saucers with Floral and Romantic Decoration & Meissen Inkwell – Early 20th Century

Elegant collection of antique German porcelain pieces, composed of four Dresden porcelain cups and saucers together with a finely decorated Meissen porcelain inkwell (1st choice), dating approximately from 1900–1930.

The Dresden cups and saucers are beautifully decorated with delicate hand-painted floral motifs, while one cup features charming romantic scenes in the traditional pastoral style. Rich gilded detailing enhances all pieces, reflecting the refined decorative taste of this period.

The Meissen porcelain inkwell is particularly attractive, decorated with flowers and insects, and embellished with beautifully interlaced gilt initials of the original owner, adding a highly personal and elegant touch.

Please note that the saucer paired with the romantic scenes cup does not originally belong to that cup, but instead comes from the matching floral-decorated Dresden service.

All pieces are marked.

Condition Report (Please read carefully):
Overall, the collection remains in good antique condition considering its age of 100+ years. Some wear and tear is present throughout, consistent with age and use. Although the porcelain is predominantly white, most imperfections remain discreet unless closely inspected. All pieces show some degree of wear to the gilding, as expected.

- The lid of the Meissen inkwell has a few very light scratches, almost invisible in normal display. The gilding on the lid rim shows more noticeable rubbing (photo 2).
- The romantic scenes cup has a light scratch inside, not significant (photo 16). The accompanying saucer also presents a scratch, again not very noticeable (photo 20).
- One floral saucer has a fissure on the edge, visible on the underside (photo 41).
- One floral cup has a more significant scratch/fissure visible both inside and outside (photos 52, 54), as well as a very slight bump to the rim, almost invisible (photo 53).
