In 2020, founder Alexander Stein managed to acquire just five Mizunara oak casks.Rare Wood: Mizunara trees must be at least 150 years old before the wood can be crafted into barrels.Challenging Process: The short staves break easily when bent, making the production of these 500-liter casks an extremely difficult and expensive process.
