The Secret of Maturation (Casks)The profile of this whisky was designed by Master Whisky Maker Steven Bremner. He manually selected five distinct styles of oak casks (American and European), all previously seasoned with Sherry wine:Proportion: 74% of the liquid aged in Butt (larger) casks, and 26% aged in Hogshead casks.Cask Origin: Includes first-fill casks from prestigious cooperages like Tevasa, Vasyma, and JMM, along with a portion of refill casks.No Age Statement (NAS): The collection focuses on the art of blending and the impact of the wood, rather than the length of aging.

Concept and PartnershipsFor this edition, the teal color of the packaging was chosen to evoke the crystal-clear waters of the River Spey. Macallan designed this release in partnership with Hardy (the historic fly-fishing brand) and the Atlantic Salmon Trust foundation, raising awareness for the conservation of wild salmon in the region.
