Rare & Historically Significant 1961 Maritime Document: German-Greek Trade History. A fascinating piece of post-WWII maritime and banking history, an authentic, original Certificate of Marine Insurance issued on June 22, 1961, in Hamburg, Germany.
Issued By: The prominent German insurance broker Jauch & Hübener (Hamburg).
For the Account of: The historic "Ionian & Popular Bank of Greece" (one of Greece's most iconic twentieth-century banking institutions, highly collectable).
The Cargo: 17 cartons of "transparent cellulose film" (cellophane) weighing 500 kg net.
The Ship: Transported via the motor vessel m/v "Hathor" & or others.
Route: From Hamburg (including pre-voyage from Interior Germany) to the port of Piraeus, Greece, with warehouse-to-warehouse coverage.
