The story of Don Quixote (written by Miguel de Cervantes, 1605–1615)
is about the impoverished nobleman Alonso Quijano. Driven mad by his
excessive reading of chivalric romances, he sets out as the knight-errant
"Don Quixote" to fight evil.
“For neither good nor evil can last forever; and so it follows that, since
evil has lasted a long time, good must now be within reach.”
Dali tackled this story in his unmistakable surrealist style, creating his
very last major graphic cycle in 1980, comprising 15 etchings plus
aquatint and color. A final masterpiece from the genius of the century.

as the other 14 prints of this series. Very scarce and rarely offered as
"The Impossible Dream" represents the climax of the Don Quixote story.
The hero has overcome all his adventures and returns home.
