Dies ist eine künstlerische Interpretation der Karte „The World in Hemispheres“ von 1874 von Lloyd H.H. Smith, angepasst an eine einzigartige und seltene Gravurtechnik für diese Größenordnung.

Sehr wenige Maschinen weltweit sind in der Lage, Großformatglas zu gravieren. Indem ich eine solche besitze und beherrsche, wollte ich deren Möglichkeiten nutzen, um zwei Welten zu vereinen: das Alte und das Moderne, vereint in einem außergewöhnlichen Dekorationsobjekt.

Auf 20 Exemplare limitiert, ist jedes Stück numeriert.
Als Geschenk liegt eine hochwertige Papier-Reproduktion der Originalkarte in Großformat bei.

Diese Reproduktion wird vollständig im Benelux-Raum (Belgien und Niederlande) gefertigt.

This is an artistic interpretation of the 1874 map “The World in Hemispheres” by Lloyd H.H. Smith, adapted using a unique and rare engraving technique for this size.

Very few machines in the world are capable of engraving large-format glass. By owning and mastering one of them, I wanted to explore its full potential by bringing together two worlds: the old and the modern, combined into an exceptional decorative piece.

Limited to 20 editions, each piece is individually numbered.
As a complimentary gift, a large-format paper reproduction of the original map is included.

This reproduction is entirely handcrafted in the Benelux region (Belgium and the Netherlands).
